Hi there! My name is Natasha Persons but you can call me Renée Lytle (my pseudonym). I’m a 27-year-old writer from the great state of Oregon.
I received my undergraduate degree in English from Oregon State University and I’m currently working on my MFA in Creative Writing from National University. I’ve lived in Oregon most of my life and I live in the Eugene area with my husband and three dogs.
As a bisexual woman I’m an avid supporter of LGBTQIA+ groups and I try to remain active in political issues such as gun control and women’s rights. I’m also very open and vocal about my mental health issues. I hope that, by being open and honest about my struggles with depression and anxiety, I’ll help erase the stigma surrounding these diseases.
A majority of my writing is literary fiction but some of my favorite genres to read and write are fantasy, science fiction, urban fantasy, and young adult. I’m currently working on a literary novel for my MFA thesis and with a little luck I hope to get it published.
